FAQs

Q. I'm interested in buying one of the paintings. How do I go about it?

Firstly email me at andy@andrewmccutcheon.co.uk to check availability. I can provide you with further, more detailed images and information if required and we can discuss arrangements. Email correspondence only - so negotiations are in writing.

Q. How do I pay?

Online payment will be made by BACS;  payment must be cleared before the painting is shipped/collected.

Q. Can I pay in instalments?

Unfortunately not. Full payment must be cleared before the work is shipped/on collection

Q What if I don't like the painting after I've received it?

I aim to provide you with sufficient images and details beforehand to enable you to confidently decide. If you want to know how it'll look in your room you can send me a photo and I'll superimpose the painting to give you an idea.

However, I will accept returns on purchases if you are not completely satisfied. The painting must be returned within 14 days and you will be fully refunded once I have received the painting. You will need to send the painting back in the original packaging and cover the cost of return shipping and insurance.

Q. What if I don't like the frame?

I can offer a reduction on price if you'd rather arrange framing yourself.

Q How much will shipping cost?

This will be calculated at the time of purchase and you will be notified. Reputable couriers are used and adequate insurance taken out.

Q. How long will it take to ship?

Please allow up to 3-5 business days for the delivery to be booked. It usually takes 2-5 business days for the parcel to arrive, depending on its destination. In the UK average delivery times are 1-3 business days, in most European countries it is 2-5 business days, while delivery times for the US are on average 3-6 business days. Local import taxes and fees for countries outside of the UK and EU are the responsibility of the buyer.

Q. What if the painting is damaged in transit?

In the unlikely event of your artwork arriving damaged, you can either refuse the shipment or you can have the delivery company mark the shipment as ‘received damaged’. Please take photos of the damaged parcel and artwork and send them to andy@andrewmccutcheon.co.uk. I will take up the matter with the courier.

Q. Can I collect from your studio?

Yes of course, visits to my studio are welcome, but by appointment only.
