Gallery 1 - Paintings from 2020
The year of lockdowns, 2020 saw my Solo Show in Yr Oriel Gallery, Newport, Pembrokeshire altered to a 'virtual' exhibition online due to the trading and travel restrictions. The lockdown also had an affect on my work for this show; attention being given to the more immediate surroundings of my home and garden resulting in a series of smaller, intimate paintings alongside more energetic responses to our vibrant garden. Landscape and harbour influences can still be read in other work.
Paintings are undertaken using a combinations of Acrylic paint with other media eg inks, graphite and oil bar.
